This teapot is called a shiboridashi in Japanese and gaiwan, or lidded bowl, in Chinese.
It is a palm-sized pot without a handle, for the brewing of fine green, white and oolong teas.
This teapot is made from stoneware clay, by Talya Giladi,
designed and created to illuminate the complex flavors of any tea brewed inside.
It holds 140 ml / 4.5 oz , enough for one bowl of tea or two small cups.
